Epidermal Multinucleated Giant Cells

Epidermal multinucleated giant cells are characteristic of herpes virus infections. Example of multinucleated giant cells in a Tzanck smear of vesicle contents of Herpes Simplex infection lesions. Low power (TOP) and high power (BOTTOM).
