    Online medical information resource requires registration for free access to an electronic journal type of format with images and tables. Currently Infectious Diseases, AIDS, Urology, Surgery and Brainscape (a test of medical knowledge) are featured.     the Drug Database (DrugDB) of the Pharmaceutical Information Network.

  12. Agency for Health Care Policy and Research - Practice Guidelines
    The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) develops guidelines of practice (Practice Parameters). There are currently 18 Practice Parameter documents released and they are available in their entirety at this site. #15 deals with "pressure ulcers" which may interest dermatologists.

    Hospital Web is a Harvard-Mass General project linking world wide hospital pages. Currently US, Canada, Germany, Japan, Norway, Italy, Hong Kong, Australia and England are represented. An extensive list, including University and non-University institutions.

  14. Biopages
    Biopages is a medical meta-page with extensive links. Improved navigation and search capability are in development. Still has the "Complete List" searchable by you browser "Find" function.

  15. OMIM (Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man)
    Search the OMIN database for information on genetic diseases. OMIM is the continuously updated online version of Dr. Victor A. McKusick's book MENDELIAN INHERITANCE IN MAN (MIM). Because this knowledge-base is updated daily, the entries may differ from the most recently published version of the book. Contains hypertext links to related documents (i.e. search "Weber-Cockayne").

    The Medical Education Page is a resource for accessing educational items on the WWW.

  17. American Association for the Advancement of Science - AAAS is the publisher of the journal SCIENCE.

    This is the Home Page of the Medical Student Section of the American Medical Association, which may be interesting to medical students and educators of medical students.
